Polite Ink. offers workshops for both teens and adults teaching the basics of improv. We offer workshops a few times a year and space is limited.

who we are
Polite Ink., or PI as we affectionately call it, is made up of people. Funny people to be precise. Funny people who perform comedy.
PI specializes in both sketch and improvised comedy. We write and perform our own sketches and our improv games are made up on the spot based on audience suggestions. We even pull a few willing volunteers from the audience up on stage for certain improv games.
What else can you expect to see at our show? Well, in addition to sketch and improv, we also feature dancing, singing, occasional video shorts, sophisticated humor, dumb humor, clean humor, humorous humor, satire, constant silliness, and non-stop laughter. Further, our shows are rated PG to PG-13.

Every year, PI holds its popular "Oh Watta Night!" benefit performance where all proceeds are donated to nonprofit organizations supporting women, children, people of color, and LBGTQ+ communities in Rochester.
